Bob Mayhew is an all-around trainer in Western Riding, which
means that he train western horses that can compete in more
than one discipline. In the U.S. it is common practice to specialize
in horses for one or a few classes, Reining, Cutting, Trail, Pleasure,
Western Riding, Western Horsemanship and others. Bob and his wife
Christine runs a renowned breeding and training facilities in England
and he is one of the most successful trainer in U K with many
championship trophies Bob also have for several years competed at
the major championships around Europe.

Already in 1988, Bob Mayhew competed in Reining Championship
which then was held in Munich. Judge including Larry Kasten,
Wisconsin, USA, who was very impressed with Bob's knowledge,
Bob Mayhew made the final in his reining mare Diablo Ima Tewlip,
a horse he had trained himself. Larry Kasten realized that he had
met a person with great talent when he learned that Bob Mayhew has
built his training skills by just looking at videos and reading books.
Bob Mayhew has a long and solid experience in starting young horses
and train horses up to advanced competition level and his knowledge
is also based on his years of experience as a competition judge.

Bob Mayhew was for many years the only non-American who was
invited to judge the prestigious NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma, USA,
where the world's top reining riders each year compete for great prizes.
Bob Mayhew returned to Oklahoma as a judge on several occasions,
invited by the NRHA, and has judged numerous competitions for
AQHA and APHA and the NCHA.
